Mother & Child
Mother & Child is an ongoing theme since I can remember. I have created images mostly with painting in oils on linen or acrylic on paper. My approach to this theme is inspired by the ideas of Madonna and Child and part of my life within the catholic religion. My earliest paintings are inspired by my own view as the child and later on listening to other difficult story that were told. The iconography of Madonna and Child is not an ideal situation, but the feeling I get when I look at them is warm and calming. What is in between the story is what I want to tell.
